Have heard of the saying that a little drop of water makes a mighty ocean? Well then if so, then you would easily understand the comparison of it to society. As the little drop of water that is a part of the mighty ocean called society, you need to be able to make a change, to expect one in return. So here are some ways you could do so.

Build Yourself

You can’t change the attitude of everyone, nor can you expect everyone to be the next generous bashirdawood. While some might be able to be influenced, others just aren’t. So when you can’t change the world, you need to change yourself. Be a better version of someone you would want to be with and show the world whom they need to be. Identify your weaknesses and work on them while improving on your strengths even more. Unknowingly you might even start influencing the people around you too and eventually the entire world!

Work On Socializing

Technology has driven us to be the antisocial people we are. Today we are hardly able to maintain a conversation more than a minute or two with someone. This is because we are more focused on how many likes we get, how that dog in the barn should be upgraded or who is attacking my territory and whatnot. We completely and unknowingly isolate ourselves from the outside world to an extent that we forget there are people sitting right next to us. Talk to others, at least if you have nothing to say listen to them. Go out for tea once in a while with a friend, visit the parks and other fun places in your city with your family and try new things and turn a new leaf! Looking at you change others too may make an effort to change, and voila you’re making the world a better place!

Drive Safe

Accidents are huge problems in many countries and most of them are caused because of the carelessness of the person behind the wheel. When you are driving you need to focus only on that. Don’t try to multitask and showoff. You are not only putting another in risk, but also yourself. So if you’re getting a call or text, stop and move your vehicle to the side and check on it or wear a Bluetooth, don’t drink and drive, if your drunk call a taxi to drive you home and always wear the seatbelt!

Don’t only focus on earning more and more money. Instead think about how you can contribute to society too. You don’t have to be rich to that, you can just be yourself and help out. If there is a program calling in for volunteers, sign up for it and offer your help!

Be kind and empathetic and help make the world and society a better place!
